I’m Having A Bad Day.

I was late again for Psy101 class! It’s a good thing my professor doesn’t belive in checking attendance. Oh, our individual projects are due on May 11. Gosh! It’s about interpreting our dreams the Freudian way. It should be really interesting to figure out what my inner or unconscious wishes are. Like he says, our 90% unconscious mind of full of sex and agression. Eep!

My Filipino professor had an operation to take out his kidney stones, I presume. Hope he comes back soon. I kind of dislike this new teacher because he seems so strict. Plus, I am already very comfortable and acquainted with Sir J’s style of teaching (and grading scheme). I am the type of person who thrives on routine and is very resistant to change.

I have another assignment for Celadon - “hunt” for fifteen electronics and/or telecommunications companies. That would be absolutely no problem if:

  • the trunk lines are open
  • the customer assistance personnel know who their marketing manager is
  • they don’t keep transferring me to other departments

3rd Sex

I just watched an episode of Six Feet Under. Midway through the show, these gay couples keep flirting, kissing, and making out. I’ve never been homophobic in any way, but I felt a certain pang of antipathy. Hindi ko ma-take! But I do think gay men are more nurturing and more emotionally aware. They make the best gal pals. *hehe* And that’s speaking from experience.

Anyway, I’m just so glad that I’m not living any of the characters’ majorly complex lives! :bleh:

It’s Fun Being A Girl

Hunbun and I stopped by Starbucks earlier. I wanted a cold drink because the heat was so unbearable at 3:00 in the aftenoon. For a change, I ordered a Chocolate Frappuccino instead of my usual Mocca Frappuccino. The sales guy asked what size, of course I answered tall. He then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to upsize for free. Huh?! :bleh: For free? For real? I obviously said yes. That’s ten bucks for free! I wonder if they have an ongoing promo or I’m just that irresistable. :haha:

Success!

Over the past few days, I had managed to install (all by myself) a lot of scripts and hacks. I really feel good since I’ve never done such things before. My biggest accomplishment is still installing WordPress. *lol* Oh, finally my gallery Memories is up and running. I also installed NetPBM to make the thumbnails much much nicer. My gratitude to the author of this helpful tutorial. I added a few WordPress hacks too.

  • Biermana’s phpGiggle 1.2.4 - This tool automatically links key words and phrases in HTML documents.
  • Alex King’s WP Grins - This hack allows you to put clickable smilies on your post and comments forms.

I’m now in the process of manually tranferring all my Tabulas entries here. Eep!
