Annika’s Debut
Wow! I haven’t gone to a parlor for quite sometime. I kind of miss all the pampering and special treatment they give you there. My mom suggested that I go to Ystilo for hair and makeup instead of our usual Bambbi Fuentes. Opt for the cheaper alternative since it’s not my debut afterall. hehe.
I got my hair flat-ironed. It’s super straight now and I love it. I’m seriously considering having my hair rebonded but its really expensive plus the fact that I have long hair. Hunbun loves
the sophisticated appeal I get with the straight hair.
I wore a purplish blue long gown. Emphasize on the word long since everyone kept stepping on my dress. Eh!? Hunbun felt as if we were going to our prom night again. *lol*
We arrived about 7:30pm at the debut, right on time! The moment you enter Makati Shangri-La Hotel’s Rizal Ballroom you get blown away by the gold and grandeur. Her motif is Anna and The King mixed with Thailand inspiration (with all the temples and elephants included). It’s really one of kind. I mean WOW! Like all other debuts, I got to mingle with old friends, gather new gossips *lol*. Hunbun was my photographer for the night, he took a lot of pictures. And I finally got to use the line: “Hindi shampoo lang yan!”
Oh, our dialogue went well. Hunbun and I even danced for a little while. Yawn. I love getting all dolled up (for bunchie).

Well, what people with money can do.. *sigh* I wish I was born a millionaire instead of good looking… lol!!! Well the debut was “bongga” but I didn’t like the Anna and the King theme simply because I don’t like Anna and the King! Haha! Nonetheless it was ok naman though the “technical difficulties” came at a bad timing (well at least it didn’t happen on your part right Bunch?) hehe!
The food was so-so. As I expected, there were a LOT and I mean a LOT of food available but some were… inedible. Haha! Sorry to say that. Anyway, my Bunch almost took the main centerpiece that was actually for the parents but luckily wala naman nangyari hehe!
What can I say about my Boo? She’s the most beautiful person in the entire ballroom! Hands down! Nobody (not even the debutant) can compare to her beauty. She was like the star that made my evening shine and of course, my princess that brought nothing but happiness to my life!
P.S. She’s my little dolly! lol!
