Yey! My phone line’s back. Thank you repair man. My phone lost its dial tone for no apparent reason. I just really happy I can use the phone and connect to the internet again.

Yesterday was my mom’s birthday! She’s in her golden years, the mid-50s. The whole family celebrated at Tempura Grill - a Japanese restaurant near our house. It’s wonderful because we seldom get together. Three of my four siblings are very busy with their own families. I have three adorable nephews and one very pretty niece. Oh, I got my mom these beautiful orange roses. I know she loves getting flowers. And she loves getting gifts! My siblings got her a white gold necklace, an Esprit bag, and an mp3 player.

Last Monday, July 5 was my boyfriend’s father’s birthday. *lol* Yeah, a lot of birthdays this July. They invited me to join them for dinner at Mario’s. I love that restaurant, hunbun and I celebrated Valentine 2003 there. But I ordered the wrong dish: fish fillet with anchovy sauce. The fish bones of the anchovy kept sticking on my mouth. *sigh* All the other dishes were delicious though, especially the mashed potatoes!

Guess what? I’m getting my own credit card! My brother just decided it was time for me to have one. I’m already 18 after all. And lots of hugs to all my commenters!

I feel so guilty for not helping my mom out at our store. *sigh* I keep thinking I should have at least helped out since I had no classes for the last two days. Anyway, I’ll make it up to her. We had a mother-daughter bonding day this afternoon. She invited me to go shopping at Greenhills. We haven’t gone shopping together for the longest time. I think 3 weeks? We shopping! *haha*

I bought 4 shirts. Kind of identical since all of them have sleeves and collar. That’s a new experience for me since I’m the girly girl type who loves being a “fashionista”. I got that from my mom. *hehe* I really dislike my Physics teacher because of his dress code. I miss wearing cute tops to school! I’m being forced to buy new clothes because I have such a limited amount of shirts with sleeves. Oh, I also bought a really comfortable and cute pair of black sandals. Yey! They only cost Php580. Mom bought a ton of food - weird food. Since there seems to be a mini food fair at Greenhills.

My kabarkada is flying home to the Philippines on July 17! She’s staying for three weeks. Yey! That means an excuse for a get together. I miss Liz, Vas, and Bon at lot! Bea’s the only one who I see often. Girls night out!

I was home all day. Since I’m putting off all homework until tomorrow, I got some creative juice flowing. *hehe* And I’ve been planning to create a new layout anyway. This song I Believe in Dreams by Janno Gibbs served as my inspiration. It is such a wonderful song, and the melody is so sweet.
