Something New
Last Thursday, someone stole my Bible.
Actually, it’s hunbun’s Bible. I placed it on the table beside mine while I was taking my math long exam, which was extremely hard. Afterwards, it just disappeared. *poof* I looked and looked to no avail. My theory is that one of my classmates must have mistook my Bible as his. *sigh*
Friday the Thirteenth was an okay day for me.
My math teacher gave us our first free cut, yay! Getting extra hours of sleep always makes me happy. Oh, my sister told me this disturbing news. Apparently, everyone in the Filipino-Chinese community already knows about it. A 12-year old girl from a Catholic all girls’ school got pregnant by her 22-year old boyfriend and neighbor. She came from a divorced family and my mom said that her parents weren’t present enough in her life. Her dad sued the guy and actually landed him in jail. But the girl threatened to commit suicide if the so-called love of her life is kept in prison. *frustration* She is obviously still a little girl and does not understand what she got herself into, what more the huge consequences of her actions. When I was 12, I was blissfully unaware of life’s complications. That just one mistake and your whole life is shattered… She’s now only 3 months away from being a mom. And she’s not even a teen yet! Her pedophile boyfriend did not even had the wits to use protection. How stupid was that? I just hope that the guy has the guts to be responsible for what he did.
Anyway, I had my hair cut today. *hehe* My mom, my boyfriend, and I all went to Bench Fix Salon in Ortigas. Hunbun just got his usual trim. Mom and I had the same treatment. I think it’s called the Deep Restoration Treatment to make your hair smoother, silkier, stronger, and shinier.
I told the hair stylist to cut just 3 inches from my long long hair, but he chopped off more than 5 inches. Oh well! I think it suits me and made me look younger. The last time I had my hair this short was my freshman year in high school, about 6 years ago. Here’s my new hair style.

Then my mom treated us to Teriyaki Boy and dropped us off at hunbun’s house. The two of us went to Powerplant, our favorite mall. We watched The Village. Too bad there weren’t any love seats left so we settled for the normal seats. Oh yeah, don’t watch that movie. It’s unbelievably bad, the worst movie of all time. It’s supposed to be some kind of horror thriller flick right? It didn’t even got my heart racing. The plot itself is outright ridiculous. What a total waste of money!

Yummy food is an instant picker-upper for me, even though I’m not a big eater. We had dinner at The Barn, a somewhat expensive restaurant along Katipunan. His plan worked especially since I ordered my favorite chocolate milkshake. The sugar hit induced an instant happiness - endorphin rush.
But my Math teacher just gave me hope she would postpone the Math exam. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
