Ups and Downs
I’d rather not post about school anymore. 
The whole examinations one after the other thing just stressed me so much the past weeks. And yes, even more exams next week. *sigh* Well, I just wish I pass all of them. preferrably with flying colors. *lol* Here’s little tidbits of what’s been going on in the life of Gretch. (Yikes, referring to myself in third person is not a good sign. 
)
Mom went to Thailand with my brother and sister-in-law last week. She bought so many new clothes for me. *yay* About 8 blouses and 2 mini-skirts. She said that they were incredibly inexpensive. And the clothing design were very unique. Hm.. Still not sure if that uniqueness is good or not. 
But I’m glad my mom is really fashionable and allows me to wear minis. Actually, she advised me to wear them now or as soon as possible while my legs are still beautiful. *lol* In her teens, she had worn even shorter skirts! Well, Thailand is definitely the new shopping center of Asia because Hong Kong’s prices had risen incredibly the past few years. I really miss travelling to other countries!
Last September 7, I finally made the “Protagonist” status of 1200 posts in The Protag Forums. 
Yup, I’ve been posting like crazy because of the Protagonist Postagathon Contest which ended yesterday. The prize was a brand new original Sims 2. Well, I made 1043 posts from August 20 to yesterday. Quite an accomplishment. 
I came in second, too bad there’s no consolation prize. But I really enjoyed getting to know the other Protaggers. It was so much fun and hope we have another contest soon.
My neice had her Under the Sea birthday on September 5. Hunbun and I brought home two little fishies again. I named them Sashimi and Sukiyaki. Well, to match Sushi, the little fish we won from my nephew’s birthday months ago. They all look so cute together. I think my brother put in another fishie because the next day there were 4 of them. But when I got home from school on September 13, I saw Sushi floating lifelessly in the bowl. 
The maid said that he, along with another fishie, jumped from the bowl to the table a day before. When she put Sushi back in, he was already cold and pale. *sigh* I hope he swims again in heaven.
Hunbun and I have been splurging on food lately. Eating out really makes a bad day much better. We’ve eaten at Eyrie and UCC, and took out food from Cello and McDonalds. Yesterday night was my first time to eat at Red Crab. Oh wow, the blue marlin in honey bourbon sauce is so delicious. It’s heaven in your mouth. But all that dining out is expensive. 
We’d better cut out from our addiction soon or we’ll won’t have any money left.
Lastly, I’ve been using Mozilla Firefox more and more. I love the tabbed featuring function and the organized bookmarking system. It has Google already in its interface too. I’ll be exploring this browser more and I’ll make sure that the next themes I make will look much better here.

In response to you comment : I like your theory. I do hope that most of them get over that phase soon. HAHAHA. Referring to yourself in third person, huh? I do that sometimes. Exams = I think that’s basically the story of everybody’s life right now. Pretty depressing, if you ask me. Exams have taken over our lives. I use Mozilla sometimes, too. It’s pretty cool. I’m so sorry I haven’t commented in a while. School is just… school. Always getting in the way and all.
I got addicted to a forum before too, and I posted SOOO much. It wasn’t even for a contest or anything, I just couldn’t stop. Haha, thank GOD I’m over that addiction. It was eating up too much of my time.
Mozilla Firefox is a GREAT browser. I love it
Eating out really is a pick-me-upper. I love eating it chic restaurants downtown. It’s so fun. I’d rather spend my money on food than on a movie or something. At least, over dinner, you can actually talk, and everyone glares at me when I talk during movies. *sigh*

ep second time typign this ah man its all thanks to the email address shaha. i wasnt paying attention that its required. anwyasy OoO pretty layout haha an i liek how ur mom looks at th eskirts with the attuide that u better wear them before its to late. so cute. my mom is soo diffrent in taht feild. but than again i dont ahev to worry what she thinks cuz i never wear them. but yay for gettin a lot of good looken clothes. tahts always fun. take care

Your layout is so pink and I love it! One question though, ummm…I was just wondering how you learned how to make centered layouts? I always have trouble with them, though I’ve pretty much mastered the art of right and left aligned backgrounds.

Hey! Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for stopping by my site and commenting. Omg! I totally agree… i do NOT like the tests/exams school gives. It IS like one test after another. No one (the teachers) has any consideration for how many classes we take and that we DO get homework in other classes as well, not just theirs. Haha. ive never been to Thailand but i heard from my thai friend that it’s really cheap~ hongkong isn’t cheap (ukayukay) but Esprit there is sooo cheap!! hahah.. ako din, i can’t wait till i travel during the xmas break this year!

i’m on the fence about buying the sims 2… can you still make customizable objects, like in the sims? coz panget yung maxis objects and skins eh!
it’s been so long sinc i had time to play the sims — i got all the expansion packs, haha! isn’t that the way it always is (fish)? one minute they’re swimming, the next they’re floating. :sigh:
