Yay for Time Off
Before going to the long entry ahead, here’s some domain updates.
I’ve totally revamped Inseparable, which is Nata and Gretch’s (meaning hunbun and I) love blog. I’ve made my very own WordPress 1.5 theme entitled Love Connection. I’m very proud of it. *hehe* Inseparable is now also a personal site complete with our love story, pictures, little love notes, and all the mushy couple stuff.
I think it even looks better than this journal. *tsk tsk* I will definitely revamp this too! Goodbye dynamic inclusion, hello WordPress pages.
Oh, I’ve also added more pictures to Memories. Lastly, I’ve finally moved all my Tabulas archives dating way back to February of 2004 here. My Tabulas blog will mainly contain quizzes, memes, and web stuff.
Last May 26, 2005, hunbun and I went to Body Worx which is a fitness gym nearby. We checked it out since hunbun is going to apply for a gym membership there. The only bad point is that the whole building smells like mint mixed with sweat. *sigh* You do get used to it though so it’s okay, hopefully. I do love the group class they offer such as belly dancing, cardio funk, cardio strip tease, and so much more! Most of all, I love the spa. I so look forward to getting full body massages, milk with honey baths, and chocolate wrap treatments. Good thing too, because I can avail of hunbun’s member rate when I’m with him. Yay! Afterwards, we ate at Kimono Ken, a new Japanese restaurant along Tomas Morato. It was a treat by hunbun’s brother, Ken. *lol* I love the Asian fusion, contemporary design with well-placed oriental accents, they had. The food is yummy and affordable too.
(Now, I get why my journal can seem like a restaurant guide.)
Late afternoon on the next day, I was fetched by hunbun’s driver. I was meeting hunbun near his office to go to Rockwell. We window shopped a little then found out that we were almost late for our movie, so we ate at Kaya at lightning speed. We watched Madagascar. It was so hilariously funny! We were literally laughing through the whole movie.
I really loved it especially Merman the Giraffe, voice acted by David Shwimmer. I feel connected to his whole sickly act for some reason. *hehe* “I want to move it, move it!”
On Saturday, May 28, 2005, I had a girl’s day out with Vassy and Bea. It’s been quite a while since we’ve gone out together.
Hunbun dropped me off at Theater Mall where I would be meeting Vassy. She gave me some gifts (face cream and ballpen) from her trip to the United States. We window shopped a little then went to Shoppesville. She was looking for a PlayStation 2 Brittney’s Dance Beat game. Too bad there wasn’t any but she was able to buy a few other games. Then at about three o’clock, we waited at Starbucks for Bea. But then decided to go to the new mall, Promenade, and asked Bea to meet us there.
Oh, we had our picture taken at Kodak.

Afterwards, we watched House of Wax which I really didn’t like. The characters there were quite stupid and landed themselves into all sorts of trouble which I think they deserved. Sorry if I seem harsh.
Anyway, we had a bit of girl talk and shopped at The Shops. We had dinner at Italiannis. I am in love with their foccaccia bread with dip and uber delicious fetuccini alfredo! The bill was quite hefty for allowance-based students like us, fortunately Bea had a Php250 off gift card.
After dinner, we said our goodbyes with kisses on the cheek and hunbun fetched me.
On Sunday, hunbun and I went to Mary the Queen Parish for mass. We were a bit too early so we decided to have a little afternoon snack at Cheesecake Etc in Ash Creek Center. We ordered smoked salmon sandwich and warm apple crisp with vanilla ice cream. Yummy!
Oh, during mass we met DingDong Dantes - the actor hunbun supposedly looks like. *lol* Afterwards, we met with with my mom and had dinner again at Kimono Ken.
May 31, 2005 was hunbun’s last day at work! Yay! That Tueday morning I went to school to get our advisement slips, which was needed to get our grades. But the office was closed. *sigh* For lunch, hunbun and I ate at Yoshinoya in SM Megamall. I love their gyudon beef bowls! Since we were already in a mall, we window shopped afterwards.
On June 1st, hunbun and I went to school to get our grades and registration forms. Of course, we headed first to DISCS office to get our advisement slips. I was really crestfallen that I only got a B+ in SA21. I was expecting an A so I called up my teacher in case there was a mix up with the grades. And there was! I deserved the A.
My teacher instructed me to file an official change of grade form which I accomplished. Actually, during that time hunbun and I were in the drive through of McDonalds for breakfast so we had to go back to school. Afterwards, hunbun and I went to Cardinal Santos Medical Center. We went to hunbun’s orthopedic doctor to have his stress-fractured foot examined. I was actually hoping for his dermatologist to be around so that I could have a consultation, but she wasn’t around. So while waiting for the orthopedic doctor to see us, we had lunch at Wansoy - hunbun’s brother’s resturant. Their chap chae is mouth-wateringly delicious!
That night, we went to the gym. I paid for a bellydancing class but the instructor was a no-show so I got a free gym trial and I could avail of any similar class.
On June 3, 2005, I applied for an Ateneo car sticker worth Php500 per car. Quite expensive! Anyway, it was also the seniors’ registration day so hunbun was there. Good thing he had a low random number so he got the classes he wanted. We then went to Greenhills to look for a good movie but ended up in the techie area. I bought two new CD pouches: a double-sized pink one and a purse-shaped Hello Kitty one.
The vendor was really weird and superstitious. She even suggested that hunbun put his hair up and show his forehead so that money would come to him. It was really not her place to give those sorts of advice. Anyway, hunbun and I went to his house and had lunch there. I think this is the first ever lunch I had in his home while hunbun always eats here. *hehe* We went to Rockwell afterwards and bought some bath products and a cute sequinned sandals for myself. That night, we went to the gym again. I availed of one of hunbun’s free guest passes. I did a little cardiovascular exercises on both the threadmill and transport, stretched a little, and had two one-hour group classes: Cardio Funk and Hi-Lo. Those were definitely high energy classes and I loved them! They’re so much better than the ever repetitive threadmill. But my body still hurts a little from those extreme exercises. *hehe*

The next night, hunbun and I went out with my mom, brother, and aunt. We ate at Zaifu in Rockwell yet again. The food was typical Japanese. Oh, the highlight of my evening was when I got new shoes!
I love my new Sketchers cross training footware. It’s called Bikers - Topliner in blue and light blue. I think I bought my old Sketchers pair back in high school and that was for casual wear only.

Afterwards, we all watched Sin City. It was black and white with touches of vivid color. It was quite a different movie than what I expected. It’s either you love it or you hate it I think. I’m leaning more towards the hate. *lol* But I do think that the movie would be so much better if the R18 parts weren’t cut.

Haven’t seen any of those movies pero I’ve read the same reviews from people. Madagascar was funny, House of Wax sucked and Sin City was awesome.
Ang cute nung purse!! Haha.
That’s why you should be present when the teacher gives out the grades!! Because you’ll never know if you got the mark you deserved… plus there’s a possibility na magmakaawa kapag masyadong mababa!!

Wow, I
the template! Seriously, it’s so wonderfully made!
I checked out the Body Worx’s site and wow, I love their services. But it’s so far away from us eh, too bad. I would have loved to try out Aero Striptease and continue my streetdancing there. I have watched House of Wax [which was sooo not scary] and Madagascar [which I found funny! Merman was just adorable, haha. and the penguins!? who would forget the ’smile and wave, boys!’ haha!].
Italianni’s foccaccia bread is
I find it so delicious that even if we haven’t received our orders yet, I’m full already. Haha

I didnt really read the longer section of your blog but I have to say the picture of the three of you looked pretty ^^ But when i saw it, the first thing that came in mind was the superstition that you should not take a picture by threes because the one in the middle will die.
But it’s just a silly superstition. Just thought of it. Oh, and I love the sneakers too! They look cool! But I think Sketchers is absolutely out of my league… I don’t think I can afford to buy them..
The layout of you and your hunbun’s love blog looks great! inspiration reallys does come to those who are in love.
Hope I be one too. Lol. I wish I was. T_T I’m never really into body building, but the Japanese restaurant caught my attention.
I’m going to check it out sometime when I HAVE time! haha. Yummy!
Rockwell… haven’t gone there for ages! I’m also planning to watch Madagascar… I’m actually choosing between that and Shutter to watch next.
*weird look*

I like the Skechers shoes. It’s adorable.
Your “love” site is also cute.
Bellydancing and aereobic strip tease are so much fun! I love doing them, but I usually just do it at my house because I don’t like actually “dancing” in front of people. HAHA. I have Carmen Electra’s DVD, and I usually just work out in our gym. My brother’s machines always take up so much space though. HAHA.
