Day One
Today was my first day of school. It didn’t go quite as well as I hoped it would be. *big sigh* I convinced hunbun to fetch me at about 7am so that we could go to school together. Everything was going according to plan until we encountered extreme traffic near Katipunan. We had to find an alternate route on the spot which luckily, we did. When we finally got to school, I hurried to the Philosophy department to submit my load revision form (request for a change of my class schedule). I have a four hour break every M-W-F.
Later on in the day, I found out I had filled out a part of the form incorrectly. Oh, well! My request did not get approved anyway, regardless of the fact that I already talked to the teacher involved.
Hunbun even helped me text and email the teacher.
All my classes for today and every Tuesdays and Thursdays this semester are Computer Science major subjects. The good thing is that all my classrooms are airconditioned. Essential since the heat in my now overpopulated university is too much! My teachers seem intimidating and so are the subject matters. I’m terribly unprepared for the inhumane work load. We had CS152 lab today and we actually consumed the whole 3 hours for a electronics exercise.
I have a really bad feeling that my junior year first semester is going to be extremely tough.
Oh, during lunch, my blockmates and I had no where to sit inside the cafeteria since the place seemed to be occupied wall-to-wall with freshmen. I’ve never seen anything like it. It was like they were swarming and taking over the whole campus. *shock* We had to settle for an outside bench. Well, hunbun picked me up soon after and brought me to his block’s “bench”. We ate lunch together since this is the only break we have together - as far as I know. I’m getting slightly sentimental now since hunbun won’t be around next school year.
I’ll be backtracking to the last few days starting with June 6, 2005 which was the day of my registration. Yes, that faithful day… My random number, 239, was not too bad actualy. But when it was my turn to enlist, all the good classes were closed and the schedule I got stuck with was the worst I’ve had!
And our maid had to give me my cheque to pay for my tuition since the checkbook wasn’t at our house.
The rest of the day was hunbun’s day of shopping fun.
For lunch, we ate at O-bento in school which tasted awful. Something happened with the way they cooked the beef. Anyway, hunbun’s driver fetched us, stopped over at Sulu Hotel, then we went to Quezon City Sports Club to pick up hunbun’s mom. Since auntie was still playing tennis, hunbun and I had a little after-lunch meal with my favorite squid dish and ice cream. (Those two sound so odd when linked together. *hehe*) Then we dropped by hunbun’s house then finally headed to SM MegaMall. Hunbun bought a few shirts from Adidas and we had snack at SugarHouse. We also went to Nike at The Podium where hunbun bought more of his gym wear - even new shoes! It was definitely his day.
I returned the next day to obtain the load revision forms. I even lined up for it. Initially, I wanted to change both my Hi165 and Ph101 classes. *sigh* But the History department’s procedures were too strict and the Philosophy department was not open for load revisions yet. My effort to wake up early was for nothing. That afternoon, hunbun and I went to his dermatologist in Cardinal Santos Medical Center. It was my very first time to visit one. Hunbun had a cleaning done while I opted for a consultation. I don’t want my face to be pricked.
The nice doctor gave me medication for my face, neck, and back. It’s my first time to have a facial wash and face cream. *hehe* Afterwards, hunbun’s mom brought us chap chae, bulgogi soup from Wansoy, and an Ice Monster dessert.
And something wonderful happened that night! I finally got my most awaited laptop! It’s my very own Asus M5n!
It’s a tiny 12.1″ white and very light laptop. I love it! These pictures were taken from Google. I’ll be photographing mine very soon.

On Wednesday, June 8, 2005, I went to school for CompSAt’s OrSem talk for the Computer Science freshmen. We had to wait a long time wherein I found out I had a great history teacher. Yay! The activity was nice since we had prepared game for them and a brief introduction into the organization. It was also hunbun’s day of OJT defense. But he had a fever.
I did my girlfriend duties and got him some medicine from the infirmary and chicken sandwich from the cafeteria. I also bought a hotdog for me and some drinks. Hunbun was sick for the next few days, more information here.
I was so glad that hunbun felt well enough to go to my family excursion last Sunday.
We went to Silang Life in Tagaytay. It was a mini resort with pool and very few ammenities. But we had a great time there with my relatives. Since hunbun and I weren’t swimming, we spent most of the day in front of the karaoke we discovered. *lol* It was fun singing - especially those romantic duets and our theme song “At The Beginning”. Hunbun also played pingpong with my cousins and I played a little mah jong.
That night we rushed to Summer Palace in Edsa Shangri-La Hotel in celebration of his brother’s birthday. The food was yummy as always.
Yesterday, hunbun fetched me and we went to National Bookstore. I bought 5 of my favorite Corona 100 leaves notebook with plastic cover and a mini Corona notebook for school. Then we went to my dentist to have my braces adjusted which was actually long overdue already. Lastly, we went to Greenhills to watch Mr. and Mrs. Smith. We did try to watch the last full show the day before but there were no more seats left. While waiting for the showing, we shopped a little and I bought a cute little halter top with a pretty lace butterfly in front.
I really miss shopping. *hehe* The movie was very action packed and did not fail our expectations. I loved the whole husband and wife bantering they had. It’s a great movie and a must see!

Your new laptop reminded me of Leanne (bad-star.net). Her last entry was about her dad giving her a new laptop. What a coincidence nga naman.

Don’t get sad about next year! I’m pretty sure you and your hunbun will be staying in touch as much as this and the past years. ^^
I’ve always envied you because you always go malling, movies, eating in expensve restaurants and such! lol I’m still in high school and I’m already too busy to even catch a movie in any mall near where I am.
Bleh~ And belated birthday to your hunbun’s dad! lol I remember once eating there… I like the food. :)
