Posers, Pixels, and Presents
It’s only been a few weeks of school and I already feel stressed out. *tsk tsk* There are lab reports to accomplish, programs to code, problem sets to solve, surpise quizzes to study for. Eep! 
Not to mention my responsibilities to my beloved organizations. Most, if not all, of my time now is spent on academics.
Anyway, I’ve been occupying myself with a new pixelling addiction lately. 
My Hello Kitty faerie is my first ever pixel and I’m quite proud of it. I made two version of Miss Rabbit - my second pixel. Someone already bought that at DMB. I didn’t think anybody would want my newbie-ish avatars. *hehe* I also tried my hand at pixel characters. The ballerina care bear is really adorable! 
Last last weekend, I had driving lessons care of hunbun. I drove his Mazda around the campus because he wouldn’t let me take it out yet. Hmph! I really love being in control of the wheels. *lol* But I can’t seem to master looking at all the mirrors. It takes practice and experience. On June 18, 2005, we attended Celadon Make-up Formation Seminar since bunnie was sick hence we missed the actual event. Afterwards, we went to MegaMall in search of the laptop accessories I wanted which were sadly unavailable. I did buy a mini vacuum keyboard cleaner which really satisfies my OC tendencies. 
Hunbun actually has a more in detailed journal entry on our weekend entitled Sick Nata and Back to School.
On June 22, 2005, CompSAt had a Project Manager Orientation which went well. 
The next day, I went to the computer shops in Gilmore and bought myself pretty colored cds and a mini-mouse at CDR King Too bad they didn’t have the mouse in white which would have matched my laptop perfectly. I also bought new ink for my printer. *sigh* Everything seems to be related to school!
At least weekends are my salvation. 
June 24, 2005, last Friday, hunbun and I went to Theater Mall. We were only supposed to be shopping since I really want a new bag and a new jacket. *hehe* But the rain was pouring really hard that we were forced to sit it out. So we decided to have dinner at Sugar House and watch Batman Begins. Hunbun was terribly against watching it at first but thankfully, we really liked the movie. It was better than what we expected. Two thumbs up! I even cried at the scenes where young Bruce Wayne lost his parents.
On Sunday, hunbun, mommy, my aunt, and I ate a The Old Spaghetti House one minute away from our home. I really love that place with the warm ambience and yummy food. Oh, my aunt just came back from her short trip to Hong Kong and had presents for us! I got a nice light blue Bossini jacket and pair of white sandals that were supposed to be my mom’s. *lol* Hunbun got a blue polo.
Today, I accompanied hunbun to do some of his errands. We also went to Greenhills and found out that TheaterMall was closed due to fire. Some of my favorites shops are located there. I also had my Singles 2 cd exchanged and I can’t wait to try it out! I hope the next days won’t be so stressful anymore…

Hehehe! Hun sabihin mo Mazda 6 na 5-door sedan dala natin.
Hehehe! Wow! You even had the time to blog! Good girl! Hehe! So far, she needs to improve on looking at the mirror and not swerving a little to the right most of the time. The car is actually too big for her. It’s a sedan. I prefer Bunch driving a shorter car so she can see the front. I even sometimes have a hard time seeing the front myself. Anyway, good luck to us in our upcoming days in school! Hay! It’s a brand new life… Let’s watch War of the Worlds! yey!

Once you start driving a lot more, the mirror thing just comes to you naturally. I used to hate it when I had to switch lanes, but after a while, it just came second nature. =)
I love the pixels! They’re so cute! Wish I had that talent.

awww. such cute pixels, nakakaaddict magpixel tlga ano? kahit na nakakaduling minsan, pero enjoy.keep on making pixels!! yeah, driving at first can be really a hassle sometimes, you know losing patience and all that stuff. si JOn din sya ang nagturo sakin magdrive nung pagkatapos nung kasal namin. never ata ako nagdrive magisa sa pinas, kakatakot lahat mga driver doon eh, dito naman malakas loob ko magdrive kahit mag-isa lang ako. pero talagang ang sarap magdrive, what i=I hate is changing lanes sa freeway, yikes! mabibilis kasi sa mga freeway d2 di gaya sa pinas mabagal pa konti.. uy, sige goodlcuk sa studies, mwahhhh….

Your pixels are adorable! They turned out wonderful.
You will get the hang of driving. I remember when I began learning I too could not focus on the mirrors, but after a while, you get use to it. You don’t literally stare at them, you just take a few glimpses here and there every once in a while. It’s difficult to explain, but you’ll know what I mean. ;)

Uy ang galeng naman!! Ang ganda nga nung pagkagawa mo dun sa mga pixels.
One of the problems for me din sa driving is looking at the mirrors…. arang ang hirap kasi na magconcentrate sa road and then look at the mirrors every now and then.
Good luck sa studies!! pahirap na nang pahirap ang academics eh.

oi gretch! ingat kayo diyan sa driving inside ateneo ah :) unless meron ka na bang student’s permit na license? kasi may guard na naglagay ng notice sa windshield ko, driving w/o driver’s license inside the campus daw will cost you P1,000.00 pag mahuli kayo! hehe kaya hindi ko na rin pinamamaneho si Trish
pero mukhang expert ka na naman ata eh, hindi naman siguro kayo mahuhuli. :)
