Shopping + Movies + Food = More!

This is an incredibly long backblog. *hehe*

Last October 22, 2005, hunbun and I had lunch at Heaven and Eggs (Tomas Morato branch). They really serve comfort breakfast-style food. We then had a little alone time at his house - lots of hugs and cuddles. We were making the most of our time together since hunbun was going to the US for 10 days that night. *sniff* Obviously, lots of crying by yours truly because I will really miss my hunbun. The following week was still filled with lots of teary moments. I also helped out at our store - sporadically watching Friends DVD which hunbun lent me. October 26, 2005 was my day of shopping at 168 and Tutuban Shopping Center with mom, a-i, and a maid. I bought 5 tops, 2 skirts, and new earrings.

On October 29, 2005, Vassy, Lizbeth, and I had a girl’s day out! Liz and I had lunch at home, then headed for Greenhills Promenade. We met up with Vassy and her family at Bizu - one of my favorite restaurants. I couldn’t resist a second lunch there. Yay for inredibly delicious salad and chocolate souffle! Afterwards, we watched The Legend of Zorro, shopped a lot, and Vassy took us to Timezone. *lol* We had a lovely dinner at Dulcinea and Liz drove me home. It really was a day of catching up on each other’s lives and bonding.

On October 30, 2005, mama, sahia, and I went to Tagaytay because achie invited us to stay overnight at their rest house there. We had dinner at Sonya’s Garden which I had been craving for. Early the next morning we were already set to go home when mama fell on the stairs. She was bleeding and bruised badly. Uncle Romy and I accompanied her to St. Luke’s Medical Center’s emergency room. We had to wait for 5 hours and pay for Php4000 with all the X-rays. Good thing everything’s fine.

On All Saint’s Day, mama, dihia, achie pin, and I paid our respects to papa’s ashes in the temple. I wish I could go and visit him more often. We had lunch afterwards at Wanchai.

Gifts for Me!

Hunbun’s finally home on November 4, 2005! He came bearing lots of presents for me! *hehe* I also had my final wisdom tooth surgically taken out that morning with lesser pain than before. The following days were recovery days for me. During those, hunbun and I watched Ghost House and The Forgotten. I loved the Ghost House which was a Korean horror slash comedy movie. I didn’t like the other movie though because it turned out to be a weird alien flick.

November 10, 2005 was hunbun’s registration day. It actually went well in comparison to mine. I accompanied him afterwards to The Old Spaghetti House in Libis for lunch. He and his PM projectmates held their meeting there which lasted for quite a long time! *hehe* We had a spontanous date afterwards and watched Flight Plan at Greenhills Promenade. The next day was my horror registration day. We were actually too early and I was way to tense to stay in the cafeteria. Hunbun took me to Eastwood to ease my nerves and chilled out at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. We met up with hunbun’s best friend Bill for lunch at Superbowl of Asia. I incredibly love their garlic fish fillet - so tender and so soft! Afterwards, we rushed back to school for my registration. My random number was last among the last so most of the classes I wanted were closed. I got bad teachers and an even worse schedule with 4+ hour break every day! I felt incredibly depressed so hunbun treated me to dinner at QCSC.

On November 12, 2005, hunbun and I woke up early to go to a non-existent meeting at school. *lol* I should really really get my facts straight! Anyways, hunbun played basketball with Kaingin as practice for “Soac na Soac”. At 2pm, we rushed home for the ACP Arya Atenista registration which was delayed because of server issues. We did manage to sign up for the Laguna tour later that night. Afterwards, we went to Podium. I had my hair cut and treatment at Bench Fix salon; dinner at Pinoy Don. We went to Podium again the following day. We had dinner at Akiga with hunbun’s family. I won a free Gindara teriyaki at the spin-a-wheel thingie. :bleh: Yehey!

November 14, 2005 officially marks the start of the second semester. I spent the first few days load revving classes and luckily ended up with a really great schedule! Hunbun and I are finally classmates at our free elective. I spent the later days shopping at the Cervini Pre-Christmas bazaar with Cla, Steph, Allan, and bunnie.

On November 18, 2005, hunbun and I finally watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at Powerplant! I love the movie - definitely magical! *happy sigh* To top the perfect movie, we had dinner at our favorite Korean restaurant, Kaya.

We attended Celadon Manager’s meeting that Saturday. Afterwards, we went shopping at Greenhills. Hunbun bought 2 really nice shirts which is quite rare… I, on the other hand, bought earrings and a pretty pair of sandals which turned out to hurt my feet. I stayed up until 5am that night wrapping books. *lol* I’m quite a perfectionist especially in that area.

I finally decided to have my practicum for DISCS because I could still have my OJT afterwards. It’s just a little load added to my already full semester. I also got invited to the 5 year BS MS CS program. I don’t think I will take it though because I don’t have that kind of passion to endure it.

On November 25, 2005, hunbun and I had dinner at Wansoy. We were supposed to have dinner with his family but took out some food for them instead. I had a thesis symposium the following day. I have no idea whatsoever on what to do! Anyway, hunbun fetched me around 12 noon and we had a great big misunderstanding! We had lunch at Tender Bobs in Greenhills Promenade and ended up switching our meals. *hehe* We watched The Exorcism of Emily Rose which is not only scary but eye-opening as well. I just hate the 3AM warning! We had dinner with my family in belated celebration of my sister’s birthday at Gerry’s Grill.

Planet Footware

On November 27, 2005, mama, Auntie Heidi, Grace, and I went to Santa’s Gift Bazaar at QCSC. Hunbun met us there too. I bought lots of Planet slippers which were fashionable and inexpensive (Php140 to Php200 price range). Next, we went to Podium and Shangri-La in search of polyester bra cups for my Speedo tankini. Thank goodness we found a decent one in Maidenform. We left hunbun at Spring Deer because he had dinner with his family. The 4 of us girls had dinner at Dulcinea.
