Happy 2006!
First of all, belated merry Christmas and happy new year to everyone!
My brother finally bought a new digital camera. It’s the Canon IXUS 55 with 5.0 Megapixels and I love it! That’s why this post is a bit overloaded with pictures. *hehe*
Last December 17, 2005, I had lunch with the girls. Jen, Steph, Vassy, and I met at Teriyaki Boy. We caught up on each other’s lives and as usual shared gossip.
Talking with them made me realize I really want to go to Beijing for the 6-month crash course on Mandarin. I heard it is an exceptionally good experience and a venue to foster business contacts. Not to mention, it’s a lot of fun especially with friends. *lol*

On December 20, 2005, hunbun and I had merienda at QCSC. The next day, we went to Eastwood for the CompSAt EB dinner at Fazoli’s. I shopped a little and bought cute tops from Plaids and Prints - the clothes there fit me well. We also watched King Kong. It’s a really long and depressing movie. I found that man is really selfish and greedy. Poor King Kong…
Our hardware had its annual Christmas party around lunch time on December 23, 2005. We held a raffle and gave goodie bags to the employees. That afternoon I met up with Vas, Liz, and Bea in Glorietta. We shopped a little - I bought mom a gift. Since it was still early, we decided to watch In Her Shoes but we were a little late though. Afterwards, I had dinner at Fridays with Vassy and Liz. Yummy food! We also exchanged gifts. I only gave them girly fluffy pens while their gifts were really nice.

On Christmas Day, I spent the wee hours of the morning finishing a programming project. Sad, huh? That night was the annual Co family Christmas get together. It was held at Phi, Metrowalk.

I was in Hong Kong the following December 26 - 31, 2005. I’ll be posting that in a separate entry soon.
We took over 200 pictures and of course, went to Disneyland! We had an early morning flight back to the Philippines. I love the new Hong Kong International Airport - so different since I was there 7 years ago. Everything’s so neat and pristine. They even have a subway in the middle of the airport! My airplane ride home was a disaster. My mom and I were seated in the very back row where there was a lack of oxygen. We also felt every turbulence that the airplane encountered. I was so dizzy. To top it off, I got split with my mom’s orange juice because of the slanted trays. *sigh* I was really happy when I finally got home - especially when I saw bunnie again.
I missed him very much. I missed my room too. I quickly unpacked to give bunnie his presents but they were sadly few because there weren’t much things to buy. After a little nap, I repacked again for our trip to Tagaytay. We always spend New Year’s there. As per tradition, I still jump at the stroke of midnight even for hte slightest chance of growing taller. *hehe* Oh, dihia suddenly went there and my 3 brothers talked about business ventures. I wish hunbun was there to absorb all the information. Hm… Lately I’ve been thinking of the future often - maybe because hunbun is already graduating soon. I’m not exactly thrilled about facing the real world. Anyways, I did not stay overnight there and went home with dihia around 4am instead. He is such a scary driver!
At least I get to sleep in my own bed.
On New Year’s Day, I had merienda with hunbun’s family at Cafe Ilang-Ilang in Manila Hotel. I love their delicious food! I remember that my father brought us for dinner there often… Oh, afterwards hunbun and I had fun with the Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse headbands. *lol*

On January 3, 2005, hunbun and I went to SM MegaMall to buy WWE tickets. They are expensive and sold out but this may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
We met up with hunbun’s best friend Bill there too. For lunch, we ate at the new Kaya Express. Afterwards, we went back to hunbun’s house since his car is “coding”. Bill picked us up to shop at Greenhills. Hunbun and I both bought new clothes. *hehe* Hunbun’s growing to love the Structure Clothing store in TheaterMall.
The next day is the first day of school again. *yawn* I already forgot all the lessons during the Christmas break.
That afternoon, hunbun accompanied me to Rustans at Shangri-la Plaza to exchange the shoes hunbun’s mom gave me. I tried on so many pairs of shoes but none fit me sadly. I finally settled on some clothes from Plaids and Prints. Oh, hunbun and I had merienda slash dinner at FrioMixx. Their breakfast selection is delish!
Today, hunbun and I had some free time. We spent it bonding and having dinner at QCSC. Having talked about the food there so much, obviously it’s one of my favorites.
Here’s some of the bags and Hello Kitty stuffs I got over Christmas.
Hunbun gave me the 400 Series Lady Business laptop bag from Samsonite. All of Hello Kitty things are from Hong Kong. *hehe*
