Life of Meetings
April 20, 2006 was my first day at Canon… That night, I attended a COA meeting at the Cervini recreation room. *sigh* Late night meetings tire me so! It’s so hard to schedule meetings when you have work.
The next day, hunbun surprised me by dropping in during lunch time. He arrived around 12:00 which was already too late because my lunch time is from 11:30 - 12:30. *lol* We just drove in circles until I had to return to the office. That afternoon, hunbun fetched me to go to Powerplant. We watched Tristan and Isolde which was better than expected.
Hunbun loved the war scenes while I loved the romance. I still prefer pure romance movies though.
On April 24, 2006, hunbun and I celebrated our 7th Anniversary together.
We had lunch at Heaven and Eggs in Eastwood. Hunbun gave me 7 3-rose bouquets for each year we’ve been together - 7 I Love You’s. To top that off, he gave me a big bouquet with 15 roses. *awww* I really didn’t expect he would be extra sweet.
We had dinner at Paparazzi at Edsa Shangri-La Manila. It was a wonderful and lovely day. Hopefully, many more years to come.
We had PT the next day and I had to rush home for a CompSAt EB meeting regarding AVP recruitment. Hunbun blogged about our “Silent Hill the Movie” day.
On April 28, 2006 around 6:00 PM, Richard and I met at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf to discuss and prepare for the CompSAt Planning Seminar. Afterwards, we had dinner at Pasto. Hunbun joined us after a few minutes. I actually liked the food there and would not mind eating more of their mushroom entrees. *hehe*
The next day, Mom accompanied me to Greenbelt 3. We met up with Vassy at Fish & Co. Wow!
I absolutely love their Fish and Chips, calamares, and all the food they served - incredibly addictive. It’s one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! I will definitely return even though the restaurant is quite pricey. Vassy and I shopped for a while at Glorietta and watched Sentinel. It was a nice movie even though I wasn’t really planning on seeing it. It’s like a movie version of the 24 Series, the one starring Jack Bauer. Hunbun fetched Vassy and I from Glorietta; we took Vassy to Shangri-La. Hunbun and I stayed ended up malling there for the night. I saw a shoe to die for!
It’s Dollhouse Sasha! I didn’t buy it at immediately though. The cost is something you really have to think about. *hehe* We had dinner at Wham! Burger and saw a ballet recital before heading home.
On May 1, 2006, a lot of people were at my house. Dihia, Achie, Uncle Romy, etc came and we all spent the afternoon talking and eating. *hehe* That night, I had dinner at Kimono Ken with hunbun’s family.

May 4, 2006 was Jaime’s birthday!
He celebrated at The Old Spaghetti House Katipunan around 7:00 PM. It was a reunion for all of us blockmates. We rarely got to see each other because everyone interned at different companies. It was great!
The next day, I had another late COA meeting at McDonalds. This time I brought Billy with me. May 6-7, 2006 was the CompSAt 2007 PlanSem at my house. (Note to self: See the minutes for details.) Mom and our cook prepared a lot of yummy food. During breaks, we played poker. It was fun especially if you’re winning.
On Sunday, Cla, JV, hunbun, and I attended mass at the Sacred Heart Church.

On May 8, 2006, I had a dinner out with Steph and Jen at Italiannis. It was great, as it always is, catching up with them. It was quite short though… We all plan to go to Shanghai after graduation on March 2008. I hope it pushes through because I already asked Mom and she agreed. I still have to pursuade hunbun though.
The next day hunbun and I went back to Shangri-La to buy the shoes I fell in love with. But the one we found was already yellowish. Sadly, there seemed to be no stocks available in their other branches. Too bad… Since I was feeling depressed, hunbun brought me to dinner at Fish & Co. *hehe* That sure made my day brighter!
On May 11, 2006, I had a late night meeting with Vannie, Marge, JV, and Steph at McDonalds’. The next night, I had a meeting with ASG at Kenny Rogers. Hunbun fetched me, accompanied me, and got really bored during the meeting. *lol* I can’t blame him though.
May 14, 2006 was Mother’s Day. Mama, Sahia, and I celebrated the day by having lunch at Red Crab. The food was yummy.
Then Mama and I went shopping at SM MegaMall for my stuff. *lol* For dinner, Achie took us to El Pescador, Metrowalk. I really like that restaurant. It’s clean, serene, and the waiters are extremely attentive. (Service is a big deal for me.) Also, the food servings are just right and everything tasted mouth-watering! I’ll definitely bring hunbun there one of these days!
The next day I had another dinner CompSAt meeting at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and McDonalds.
On May 16, 2006, hunbun fetched Dianne and we all had dinner at Teriyaki Boy. I miss girl talk and shopping with her. Then, we watched Mission Impossible 3. It’s so not worth the money! There’s no plot at all and I hated the part where he had to say “I Love You” to the girl before “dying”.
*grumble* It’s too Filipino movie-ish!
The next two days I had CompSAt and COA meetings respectively. The day after those, hunbun and I attended PT and had dinner at QC.
