Looking Forward to Weekends
Summer school so far has been okay. It’s turning to out to be more demanding than I expected though. I only have 2 subjects but both of them are keeping me busy. SA21 requires a lot of paperwork and group projects. Good thing I can rely on my responsible groupmates. *hehe* FIS is not that difficult as a class itself actually but my teacher makes the quizzes incredibly hard! Especially with the right minus wrong test types.
At least both of my teachers give a lot of freecuts!
My computer suddenly broke down on me a couple of weeks ago. And just when I was getting the ending I wanted with Princess Maker 2. *sigh* I recently got it fixed at PC Express, Gilmore branch. It turns out that the power died and my video card was burned. Of course, I had to have them replaced which cost me quite a bit. Oh well, at least I have my beloved desktop back.
But I’m using hunbun’s laptop now since I can access my brother’s wifi through it. Yay for free internet! *heh*
Since hunbun and I are both really busy on weekdays, we make our weekends special.
On April 22, 2005, hunbun surprised me with this lovely bouquet of flowers since “he loves me”. *lol* That’s verbatim! He bought the arrangement from Holland Tulips in Podium after he had a dinner out with his officemates. As far as I can remember, this is my first ever bouquet with assorted flowers. *hehe* My boyfriend really does spoil me a lot.

Our 6th love anniversary together fell on a Sunday, April 24, 2005. Yes, we’ve been a couple for 6 whole years now! Time flies so fast when you’re in love.
And I can’t imagine anyone more perfect to share the rest of my life with than hunbun. *awww* We spent the day relaxed and just enjoyed our time with each other. About 3 in the afternoon, hunbun came over and gave me a gorgeous bouquet of 3 dozen roses (or 6 half-dozens for our 6 years of love *hehe*). We then headed to the new Gateway Mall which I’ve never been to before. But it was way too crowded for our liking that even its 450 square meter open-air interior garden called “The Oasis” couldn’t convince us otherwise. So hunbun and I opted to go to a Starbucks branch near Greenhills for a snack. We also bought our gift for each other at a Precious Moments store nearby. We added to our collection the “All Girls are Beautiful” figurine set. This includes a Japanese emperor and empress with three flower arrangements. Isn’t it precious?

Only because I haven’t been to that restaurant before.) It was service deluxe there. We even had complimentary chocolate desserts on frosted glass with powdered sugar. And the Tivoli gave me a single red rose.

This year, we had an added gimik which was a voting game. Other Ateneo students had the chance to vote for their favorite “Campus Heartthrobs”, “Valentines Couples”, etc etc - at a price of course. We had a lot of fun with it and earned a good amount of money too! Our harana was also really popular. You can have your special someone serenaded with the song of your choice. I had hunbun serenaded twice with single red roses.

Afterwards, we Tokyo Tokyo for an inexpensive lunch. *hehe* That night we had dinner at The Master’s Wok, Podium with my family. My aunt chose the restaurant because it was her birthday that Saturday. For dessert, we went to Goodies and Sweets. Their chocolate decadence is so delicious! Hunbun stayed late at until 12 midnight at my house to be the very first one to wish me a happy birthday. Isn’t he such a sweetie?

It’s so depressing… Thursday (January 20, 2005) was the pivot day and eventually things finally went upswing from there. My aunt and uncle celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in Fernwood Gardens that night. The reception and the programme was really beautiful. My aunt was a ballerina so she danced so gracefully. I especially loved it when they played “Way You Look Tonight”. It’s one of my favorite songs and it has special sentimental meaning since hunbun and I danced it during my 18th debut.
