The Transcendentals

Notes: This is the first theme I created for Cherubelle. The inspiration was taken from the concept of “Transcendentals” which are the true, the good, and the beautiful from philosophy. And I just fell in love with the picture of the rose and the cherub. The colors I chose are very light and soft to further portray the theme title. I even added fancy entry headers. Lastly, I noticed some slight misalignments of the boxes in IE but everything is still readable.

Heavenly Princess

Notes: I miss my cute and baby-ish themes. This theme was inspired by tiaras and princesses. I find it very sweet and girly. Oh, I’ve spent more time on this layout compared to all the others. Making everything appear exactly the way I wanted to was incredibly time consuming, but the end product is worth it.

Winter Flourette

Notes: The word “flourette” is a Middle English term for a cluster of small flowers. This serene theme is inspired from the beautiful and delicate bouquet of roses in the illustration. I also wanted to portray a very non-traditional holiday layout. The soft glows and colors, the hearts and butterflies accent the overall mood. The color scheme is especially eye-friendly.
